Kiedy Audrey dokonuje druzgocącego odkrycia na temat swojego męża, nowojorskiego prawnika Joela Litvinoffa, jest zmuszona ponownie przeanalizować wszystko, co myślała, że wie o ich czterdziestoletnim małżeństwie.
